November 2, 2009 – Revival,
Amador Christian Center – Guest Speaker: Evangelist Jim Ford, Crescent City, CACANCER HEALED:
Monday, Nov. 2,2009 was the second night of revival at Amador Christian Center, and I came expecting. I knew we would see miracles signs and wonders. I knew people would be blessed. They were. But this night was to be a special night for many, and a very special night for me. I had shared with our pastor, Mike Colliano that I had an appointment the next day with my dermatologist for a skin cancer that had appeared on my neck. I had shown it to him during worship practice the Friday before, because I knew that he also had a spot on his face by his eye. I told him that I believed God was going to heal me before my Tuesday morning doctor appointment.I walked into the church that night just like I always walk in, with a cancerous spot on my neck that God still had not healed. Didn’t matter. By His stripe I was already healed. Worship started at 7:00 P.M. and we all entered into His presence. The anointing and the presence of the Holy Spirit was very strong. It was wonderful. As worship ended, the evangelist Pastor James Ford stepped to the pulpit and began to preach. As it had become my habit to do, I instinctively reached for my neck to touch the spot that I knew the Lord was going to heal. Now a couple of weeks earlier, my wife Gail had prayed for my cancer for healing. But in the service there had not yet been an altar call and no one had prayed about it in the service. As I put my finger on the cancerous area, IT FELL OFF!!!!!! ONTO THE FLOOR!!!!!!!!!! GONE!!!!!!!! GLORY TO GOD!!!!!!!!!. Pastor Ford was preaching and I was trying to get Gail’s attention. Finally she turned to me and with a huge smile on my face, I pulled back my shirt collar and revealed to her total healing. New skin was where the cancer had been moments before. Praise the Lord. The next day, I kept my appointment with my doctor. He examined the area and gave me a clean bill of health. I told him my story and he responded with “I suppose you’re going to tell me it was a miracle.” I responded back, Yes, as a matter of fact I am. And that is exactly what it was. Chuck Pyles
