JESUS IS TALKING TO HIS OWN CHILDREN ABOUT JUDGING?
Matt Chap 5 through 7, He had been teaching the people about our lives with Him.
NT -- When a word like "judge" or "judgment" has a number of possible meanings, it is easy to become confused, as many Christians are, about the Bible's teaching concerning judging others. The best  way to develop our understanding of what the Bible teaches on this important subject is to examine key passages in the NT. God alone is judge. The NT, like the OT, strongly affirms God as ultimately the only qualified judge. James emphasizes the OT concept of a judge as a ruler when he writes, "There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you--who are you to judge your neighbor?" (Jas 4:12). The fact that God alone is competent to pronounce judgment on human beings is basic to our grasp of what the Bible says about judging.
