Our Beliefs

Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior of the World, The Same; Yesterday, Today and Forever!

Our Beliefs: We do not lift up any denomination, we do not debate subjects of controversy. Our beliefs are simple, Jesus died on the Cross for our Sins, was raised from the Dead, Resurrected from the dead that we have the invitation and choice to be saved from eternal damnation of our soul, He sits at the right hand of God and intercedes for us. His Resurrection gives us the opportunity to also live the resurrected life of Victory and not Defeat, because He once and forevever died for our sins, riefs, infirmities, etc.

The Stripes He took on His back were for our healing. (He went about healing all that were sick and oppressed of the devil and He gave us that same authority in His name to do the same and even greater.)

When He went away He sent the Comforter, the Holy Ghost as our teacher of the Truth. The Bible says, 'Ye must be Born Again", born of the "Spirit".

We believe in Repentance, Inviting Christ into your heart and Water Baptism. in the name of the Father , the Son and the Holy Ghost. We believe that faith without works is dead. (If you say you believe in God and you have NO fruit to back up your life's testimony, you must be on the wrong path, as even the devil believe's and trembles, but certainly he will not enter into Heaven).

We believe that what Jesus did we can do if we believe, as He said He gave us power and He commissioned us to do greater things than He did.....to go and make disciples of all men ......... I could go on but we do keep it simple, if you have questions please feel free to ask.

I believe if you are reading this, you are reading it for a purpose, you are searching for greater depth in the Lord and that is wonderful, so am I. Paul said, Phil. 3:14 I press towards the prize for the mark of the High Call of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Bible says, God is love. I would like to encourage you to show love in your churches, to show yourself friendly to everyone, those you know and those you do not know. People need to be loved and need to be accepted. Lets do that.

Looking to meet others with outreach ministry, that we might work and pray together for the Cities.

SHOW YOURSELF FRIENDLY, LOVE PEOPLE AS THEY COME INTO YOUR CHURCHESIF YOU WANT THEM TO RETURN:

Note:: If you came to my house and I walked by you and i did not welcome you into my home, did not say hello, shake your hand or hug your neck, if I ignored you? would you feel welcome at my home? Would you want to come back? I really doubt it.
And if a person came in that was or was NOT a Born Again Christian would they want to come back in regard to the way they were accepted into your church, I hardly think so.

I can ask this out of my own experiences, as a Christian, after visiting many churches, let us show ourselves friendly and love one another, accept one another, and be outgoing enough to show our smile and our heart to outsiders and really allow them to come in.

We need to think of our church as a home for God's people, and those who do not know Him, make them welcome, allow your love show. let us remember to invite people back also, for all the right reasons......we are not building churches of people, churches are just gathering places. I am the Church, You are the Church, we are building a Kingdom of Fellowship of Intimacy with God who loves all of us and is NOT willing that one would perish.

We believe...

In the one true living God of holy scripture, who is Tri-une in nature: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.

In the absolute deity, spotless humanity, and virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary for all of lost humanity.

In the literal, bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

In "the blessed hope": the removal (rapture) of Christ's ambassadors from earth to meet the Lord in the clouds and to ever be with Him before the time of Jacob's trouble.

In the reality of eternal blessing for the saved, and eternal punishment for the lost.

Biblical Standards for The Power and Presence Ministry

Because of the nature of the high and holy calling that we have in Christ Jesus, it is our responsibility to establish a standard of ethics we have set down for The Power and Presence Ministry. We reserve the right to disassociate with anyone whose lifestyle and practice seriously violates Biblical principles and the common vision of this ministry. The following are some general principles:

1. No person/member shall use The Power and Presence Ministry for selfish, personal advantage.

2. Each one should comprehend and honor his covenant commitment to the Lord first of all, and to one another.

3. Cooperation and harmony, communication must be more than a term or ideal; it must be a practical reality among the leaders and workers under the name of The Power and Presence Ministry.

4. This sovereign unity must be protected and encouraged among the members.

5. Each fellow minister's lifestyle and practice among men must exemplify Jesus Christ. This includes language and modest apparel in regard to Biblical Standards and respect for others. (Speaking of Leaders)

6. Each fellow minister is responsible to maintain a high level of integrity in his business and personal affairs.

7. Among this unity of believers may it not be named by one in Leadership to profane the name of the Lord, but in words, actions and deeds uplift the name of Jesus Christ and be the example of a person called to serve Him as Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

8. Matthew 18 will be the procedure followed for conflict resolution.
