Hypocrite in that Day

HOW TERRIBLE IT WILL BE FOR A HYPOCRITE IN THAT DAY!

Mat 23:25 "How terrible it will be for you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! You are so careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are filthy-full of greed and self-indulgence! Mat 23:26 Blind Pharisees! First wash the inside of the cup, and then the outside will become clean, too. Mat 23:27 "How terrible it will be for you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs-beautiful on the outside but filled on the inside with dead people's bones and all sorts of impurity.

CUP AND PLATTER

As I was reading this chapter and began to dwell on the cup and the platter being clean. These being items people eat and drink from.

I began to think that we are vessels of God that people eat and drink from as well, we feed others the word of God and they come to our services eat and drink the pure word of God.

It is no wonder that the Lord would be so angry at the Pharisees that looked so good on the outside yet inside they were full of uncleanness. If you read all of Chapter 23 of Matthew, you can pinpoint that all that Jesus said about the Pharisee’s is what we do not want to be. If we are going to walk with the Lord.

We must see that if we are going to be vessels used by God to pray for and to teach and preach His word to His sheep it must come through a clean vessel. God calls us to Holiness, though we know our righteousness is totally in Christ Jesus. We must walk as He walked and teach as He taught. It is important that it comes from the inside of us out to others. Out of our bellies shall flow rivers of living water. We do not want to pour out dirty water and unclean food to Gods children, we must be clean on the inside with right motives, without covetousness, without greed, without being gossips, but walking in the Spirit and in the Light of the Lord. Submit all to God and allowing Him to work in us to will and do of His good pleasure and to make us that vessel clean, holy and pure.

Living, crystal clear, clean water cannot come from an unclean vessel. It will tainted with the filth of the vessel it comes through. Rise up people of God and ask the Lord to cleanse you and use you for His glory, that He would search you and know you , cleanse all that is not of Him that we might come into unity with Him, in one mind and one Spirit. Let us not be as the Pharisees nor the hypocrites, as white washed sepulchers.

I can picture someone giving me a cup of water and as I tip the cup I see how dirty it is on the inside, I would not be able to drink from that cup. We must be clean vessels, fit for the Master’s use. We have many new babies coming in and they must be fed sterile food from sterile vessels our cleansing being the Blood of the Lamb, our own teaching being by the Power of the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of Truth. Walking 24/7 a consecrated life unto the Lord and seeking Him daily for direction.

September 21, 2008 I sense the Lord encouraging us daily to find that place of intimacy with Him, for He is the one we go to, to grow and learn and submit and become clean daily, moving from glory to glory and not moving out of this intimacy to do your own thing for just a little while, the Bible says “sin is pleasant for a season”, but we don’t have time for those seasons. The Lord says, the harvest is ready and the laborers are few. Where are you? Are you in your place, are you where God wants you, are striving to be in the place of your destiny, the very place of the perfect calling of God in your life or are you still trying to live in His permissive will, there is no middle ground, the Bible says you will serve one Master, who are you serving? For God is calling you to come in closer to give Him your all, there is no one foot in the world and one in the kingdom anymore.

Sheep are being separated from the goats are you a sheep or are you a goat, make up your mind for now is the time we are being pressed to, yes, take sides, so whose side are you on? There is one God, and none other, will you choose Him all the way, because if you try both sides you will spiral downward until you make up your mind says the Lord, for now is the day of salvation, now is the time decisions will be made says the Lord.

I am calling you today “do not turn away, but come to me and let me feed you and care for you, for as you go any other direction you are in danger of being swallowed by the roar alone of the enemy, come says the Lord and let us sit down and sup together, I have much to tell you and I have blessings to give to my own. My sheep hear my voice and another they will not follow so come now says the Lord, the days are coming upon the earth when gross darkness will cover you and it will become difficult to find your way stay in My presence stay in My care says the Lord.

There are many hypocrite and many false prophets who will teach you truth in part says the Lord and the truth will come through an unclean vessel, if it were a dirty cup would you be able to drink it and even stomach it says the Lord without it making you sick. Beware of those who would entice you and tell you all is well, and we are in times of peace, for the Lord says we are in times of troubles and turmoil and we must come together in the unity of faith and in trusting and obeying the word of God. Do not come under the bondage that the enemy wants to bring on you says the Lord, for in Me there is freedom, there is no condemnation, but freedom to serve and to be all that I the Lord have called you to, because you want to, because the call inside of you says, “this is the way walk ye in it“, God is good, His plans for you are for good and not for evil. Rejoice even though it rains on the just and the unjust, there will be trying times ahead but I am with you always says the Lord. As you grow you will become strong like the Oak tree, your roots will be deep and nothing will by any means hurt you nor take you out of My hand says the Lord, for think how much you love your own children, how much more does your Heavenly Father love you.
