TRANSITION/DARKNESS/VALLEYS-"Sharing a Dream that I believe will bless many in this time of darkness and transition, as Jesus is right there ready to step into your tangible world and fix it all-Get your focus back": 2010

In this dream, I found myself in a place where man could not touch me and no person could help me.  (Have you been there, where it had to be God).  The Lord showed me lying on a cot on my side, helpless, weak and without strength.  All my friends stood around and they seemed to stand at a distance and just watch, my husband being in the middle of my friends and nearest to me, he could not touch me.  All of a sudden, out of nowhere, came the Lord Jesus walking up to my bedside, he had a jar he was holding with both hands, carefully bringing it to me, filled with fruit and vegetables, all kinds of nourishment for me.  He passed through the crowd of friends that stood around just watching, He knelt at my bed, He kissed me on the cheek and He left that jar of nourishment with me.  He rose and walked away and the dream ended there."  What a great ending. Just then you thought He was not there, just when you thought all hope was gone, He was there suddenly.  From that day forth everything began to come into perspective and all of life started to take a turn in a new direction or a new season.  He was there all the time.  “Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exhaults itself against the knowledge of God.”  The devil whispers in your ear all negativity, people whisper defeat, and unbelief, then Jesus shows up and you have just been suddenly brought from the Pit to the Palace, but the day before you might have wondered if your season of trial would ever end.  Suddenly it did.

A time of trial, testing, and even stretching our faith, all that we need but do not want to go through anything to get it.  God is opening you up, emptying you out and filing you up with Himself.  All that we ever needed was Him, don’t look to your neighbor, your church, your friends, not even your spouse.  But keep your focus on Jesus who alone can empty you of yourself.  He will, if you let Him empty you of all that is not of Him, if you are going after fullness, be willing to surrender in every trial you face and every hindrance that comes your way.  Submit it to God, allow Him to remove the self-will, jealousy, covetousness, all that is not of Him, and let Him fill you with His fullness.  Gail Manizak-Pyles 2010
